“TinyUrl” for SharePoint Feature Requests

I am soliciting feature requests on Twitter for the first version of the “TinyUrl” for SharePoint feature I’ll am developing.

    How about the possibility to update the target for the URL? For example, if I have a short link to the beta doc for a product, can it be an option to point the same URL to the final version of the doc when it comes out? This would be helpful as the link could have a permanence factor. -DRC

    It might be useful to have an alternate from of the tinyurl that is a shortened path to the item in sharepoint. This would be shorter than the default URLs, but would also be human readible to show the path but the last bit might be a shortened unique identifier for the item.
